Electronics
Soldering stations, signal-analysis equipment and a stereo microscope for building and validating electronic systems.
DESY INNOVATION FACTORY · INNOVATION VILLAGE
A 120 m² launchpad for deep-tech ideas, combining 3D printing, mechanics and electronics with flexible workspace for developing and validating prototypes.

FOR DEEP-TECH PROTOTYPING
The Makerspace provides equipped experimental areas for 3D printing, mechanics and electronics. It is designed for (pre-)founders, start-ups, scale-ups and transfer or collaboration projects.
Office and co-working areas support individual work and collaboration around the prototype, while flexible booking makes the infrastructure usable without maintaining every capability in-house.
EQUIPMENT & WORKSPACE
A practical toolset for moving technical concepts into physical prototypes and testing feasibility.
Soldering stations, signal-analysis equipment and a stereo microscope for building and validating electronic systems.
FDM 3D printers supported by slicer software and 3D-CAD modelling tools for rapid iteration.
Milling, sawing, grinding, turning and related workshop capabilities for mechanical prototyping.
Office and co-working space plus room for exchange, evaluation and community activities around the technical work.
WHO IT IS FOR
The Makerspace is available to pre-founders, start-ups and scale-ups as well as research-transfer and collaboration projects from the deep-tech sector.
